TapTime is a party game played on one iPhone or iPad. This page explains what the app stores and why none of it leaves your phone.
The data controller is Stian Gaare Vaagan, the developer of TapTime. Send questions to kontakt@runpace.no.
In short
- TapTime collects no data about you and sends nothing to us.
- The app has no account, no server, no ads, no tracking, and no analytics.
- What you enter in the app stays on your phone.
What is stored on your phone
So your setup is there the next time you play, the app keeps the following on your phone:
- The players’ names and each player’s color.
- The setup: time per turn, rounds to win, whether the letters face outward, the letters you’ve chosen, and whether to play with your own cards only.
- Your own cards, if you have made any.
- The language you picked in the app.
- Whether TapTime Pro has been purchased, so the app knows even when you’re offline.
This data is not sent anywhere. It is included in your phone’s own backup, like other app data, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Sharing your own cards
When you share your own cards, the cards are inside the link or QR code itself. Nothing goes through us. You decide who gets the link, for example through Messages, AirDrop, or email, and the privacy policy of the service you use applies.
Buying TapTime Pro
The purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. The app only asks the App Store whether Pro has been purchased with this Apple Account or by someone in your Family Sharing group. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Permissions
TapTime does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or notifications.
Children
TapTime is made for the whole family. Since the app collects nothing, it collects nothing about children either.
Your rights
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to show you or delete. You can change or delete anything you’ve entered right in the app, or remove all of it by deleting the app. If you have questions, write to kontakt@runpace.no. You can also file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
