How many can play?

From 3 to 20 players. The app recommends the number of bluffers: 1 for 3–6 players, 2 for 7–10 and 3 for 11–20.

What is the hint?

With “Hint for the bluffer” turned on, the bluffer gets a word related to the secret word that doesn't give it away. It makes bluffing easier. Turn it off on the home screen for a harder game.

I bought Pro, but the categories are locked

Open Settings in the app and tap “Restore purchase”. The phone must be signed in with the same Apple Account that bought Pro, or be part of the same Family Sharing group.

Can the rest of my family use the purchase?

Yes. Pokerface Pro supports Family Sharing, so one purchase covers everyone in the family group (up to six people).

Where are my own word lists?

They are stored only on the phone where you made them and are not shared between phones. If you get a new phone, they come along when you transfer from the old phone or restore from a backup. Deleting the app deletes the lists.

There's no sound when time is up

The sound follows the silent switch and the volume for ringtones and alerts. The phone vibrates either way, as long as haptics are on in the app's settings.

A word or hint doesn't fit

Write to us with the word and the category. We'll fix the word lists in the next version.
